We sin, we are negligent, we neglect to pray, we don't obey to God's commands, we don't correct our conscience, our lives, although we do know that even after a while we might die. And all the things we created and made here in this world (money, glory, family, diplomas, etc) will be vanished. "When death comes, everything else just disappear. That's why we should take care of our souls. We should take care of "the only thing that really matters". We should be thinking of how we would clean our soul, our mind, our body, how we would be free of the chains of sin all the time. And then, by the Grace of God, we'll achieve "the only thing that matters" and then, indeed, we'll pass from death to eternal life.
